AB In this article, I examine the process of social stratification in the school class, and record the context in which the inclusion or exclusion of those who are seen as the bearers of an identity other than the group dominant identity takes place, and whether it has the character of ethnic or social class. Special attention is paid to the interrelations among various sociodemographic categories. The article raises complex questions about the social inclusion and exclusion dynamics in educational settings. The article is based on qualitative inductive and ethnographic fieldwork. Ethnographic observations play a key role in this fieldwork.
